Quantum Entanglement
A phenomenon where particles become interconnected, sharing states and properties instantaneously over distance.
“In quantum mechanics, quantum entanglement is considered one of the most mysterious and fascinating aspects.”

Chaos Theory
Focuses on systems sensitive to initial conditions, where minor changes can lead to significant effects, known as the butterfly effect.
“Chaos Theory is often illustrated by the butterfly effect, where a small change can result in vastly different outcomes.”

String Theory
A theoretical framework where point-like particles are replaced by one-dimensional strings, aiming to unify quantum physics and gravity.
“In physics, String Theory attempts to reconcile quantum mechanics and general relativity.”

Dark Matter
A form of matter thought to account for most of the universe's mass, detectable by its gravitational effects rather than emitted light.
“Despite being invisible, Dark Matter can be inferred from its gravitational interactions with visible matter.”

Quantum Chromodynamics
The theory describing strong interactions between quarks and gluons, fundamental in forming protons, neutrons, and hadrons.
“In particle physics, Quantum Chromodynamics provides crucial insights into the interactions between quarks and gluons.”

Cosmic Microwave Background
The thermal radiation left over from the time of recombination in Big Bang cosmology, providing evidence for the Big Bang theory.
“The discovery of the Cosmic Microwave Background provided crucial evidence supporting the Big Bang theory.”

Superstring Theory
An advanced version of string theory suggesting particles are vibrational states of microscopic strings, potentially unifying all physical forces.
“Superstring theory extends string theory's principles, proposing a unified theory of quantum gravity and offering insights into the universe's fundamental nature.”

Hawking Radiation
Theoretical radiation emitted by black holes, as predicted by Stephen Hawking, suggesting black holes lose mass over time.
“Hawking Radiation implies black holes are not completely black but emit radiation, leading to their gradual evaporation.”

Planck Scale
The scale at which quantum gravitational effects dominate, requiring a unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity.
“At the Planck Scale, conventional physics breaks down, necessitating a quantum gravity theory to describe phenomena.”

Bose-Einstein Condensate
A state of matter formed under near absolute-zero conditions, where particles occupy the same space and quantum state.
“Bose-Einstein Condensates represent quantum phenomena on macroscopic scales, offering insights into quantum mechanics.”
