Newton's Laws of Motion
Three laws that describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the forces acting on it.
“In his high school physics class, Jake learned about Newton's Laws of Motion, which helped him understand how different forces affect the way objects move.”

Electromagnetism
A branch of physics involving the study of the electromagnetic force, a type of physical interaction that occurs between electrically charged particles.
“Scientists at the laboratory are conducting groundbreaking research in electromagnetism to develop more efficient wireless charging technologies.”

The Conservation of Energy
A principle stating that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant over time.
“In a closed system, The Conservation of Energy ensures that the total energy remains unchanged over time.”

Gravity
A force that attracts two bodies towards each other, the force that gives weight to objects with mass and causes them to fall to the ground when dropped.
“Without the force of gravity, life on Earth would be fundamentally different.”

Atomic Structure
The arrangement of particles within an atom, which includes protons and neutrons in the nucleus, surrounded by electrons in shells.
“Understanding the atomic structure is fundamental to the study of chemistry and physics.”

Waves
Disturbances that transfer energy from one place to another without transferring matter.
“Radio waves are used to broadcast music and news.”

Thermodynamics
The branch of physics that deals with the relationships between heat and other forms of energy.
“In my physics class, we just started learning about thermodynamics and the laws governing energy transfer.”

Light and Optics
The study of light, its properties, and how it behaves and interacts with matter.
“In physics class, we learned about Light and Optics to understand how lenses and mirrors work.”

Nuclear Physics
The field of physics that studies the constituents and interactions of atomic nuclei.
“Nuclear Physics has revealed many important applications, including in medicine and energy production.”

Relativity
The theory proposed by Albert Einstein that describes the laws of physics in the context of moving frames of reference, especially at speeds close to the speed of light.
“Albert Einstein's theory of relativity revolutionized how we understand space and time.”
