Quantum Mechanics
A fundamental theory in physics that provides a description of the physical properties of nature at the scale of atoms and subatomic particles.
Fluid Dynamics
The study of how fluids (liquids and gases) move and the forces on them.
Electrodynamics
The physics of electric charges in motion, dealing with electric and magnetic fields and their effects.
Special Relativity
A theory of the structure of spacetime formulated by Albert Einstein, emphasizing that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers.
Thermodynamics Laws
The three laws that describe how energy changes within a system and how energy interacts with objects outside the system.
Superconductivity
A phenomenon of exactly zero electrical resistance and expulsion of magnetic fields occurring in certain materials when cooled below a characteristic critical temperature.
Photonics
The science of light generation, detection, and manipulation through emission, transmission, modulation, signal processing, switching, amplification, and sensing.
Nuclear Fusion
A nuclear reaction in which atomic nuclei of low atomic number fuse to form a heavier nucleus with the release of energy.
